FIRST MEETING OF THE YEAR!! Today we made FIZZ INFLATORS and looked at pond water under the microscope... we discovered several macroinvertebrates!

Students discussed planting flower beds beside Henry Clay and took a hiking tour around campus. We observed a hawk's nest being built up in a tree.

Dr. Scott Diamond facilitated the production of BIODIESEL FUEL during science club today!

Next Science Club meeting will be WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16... we will be making biodiesel fuel at this meeting!! BE THERE OR BE SQUARE!!

Today we dissected a SNAKE!! YIKES! Next semester we will dissect an IGUANA!!

All fundraisers for Innisbrook were to be turned in today. Next meeting is November 10. Coupon book fundraisers will be turned in at this time!!

First meeting for 2010-11 school year was well attended! Students wishing to join will come back next Wednesday, 9-15-10 with $10.00 to cover their membership dues and tshirt!

Students prepared for sign-ups for Fuel up by making posters and hand-outs for students. We took orders for tshirts, discussed our field trips and fundraising!

Ms. Washington visited science club and we made plans for Fuel Up for 60 sign-ups, pep rally and free salad bar day for Henry Clay students.

We had our last meeting of the semester today! We celebrated by making our own ice cream!!!

Tanner Perdue visited science club and presented the project he had invented and presented at science fair. It sorts different types of plastics based on their density; it's used for recycling. Tanner plans to patent his invention.
